Newsletter September 2008 NEXT MONTHLY MEETINGWednesday 17th September 2008 in the Trinity Room at the Christchurch School of Music. Barbadoes St. Next to the Catholic Cathedral.6.30 - 7.30pm   CMPA Committee Meeting7.30-7.45pm     Library time7.45- 9.00pm     Julie Wylie will debut her newest collaborative CD.  Come along to find out more!!  Free for members, $2 for non-members.

Coming up: 

Wednesday 15th October - Luke from Gandharva Loka will workshop World Instruments.  They have a fantastic range of percussion, string, and wind instruments. 

Saturday 18th October - “Threading the day with Music”. From 10 am till 3pm CMPA are hosting a day of musical parenting workshops at the Champion Centre. More details as they are confirmed.

Friday 31st October - Music Education Canterbury and Musical Parenting are planning on holding a family workshop with Heather McLaughlin from Australia. More details as they are confirmed.

MORE KIDS RADIO (thanks Melanie)!

Did you know that RDU 98.5 have a great children’s program on Sunday mornings, 7am-9am with all the good oldies like Little Flick, Diana and the golden apple, Bad Jelly the witch, Sparky and the talking train… and what’s more the kids can phone in to make requests and have a chat ‘on-air’ with the presenter, ‘Bob’.
