Katharina Cairns
Kathy has been teaching music for more than 20 years and completed a piano teaching diploma after 4 years of full time study.
Kath teaches piano, chamber music, xylophone, preschool music and movement, helps with school teachers, teaches Orff Schulwerk techniques and pedagogy. In the last few years Kathy has been exploring piano improvisation for Eurythmy classes at the Rudolph Steiner School and is enjoying extending that into teaching her students to improvise.
Each year Kathy holds concerts where her students play xylophones, the harp and other Orff instruments in ensembles.
